So it will pay very well for MS if they basically make 365 the defacto money stream whilst keeping very happy customers. This just sweatens the deal and should encourage more takeup.Īnd I suppose they know full well that the majority of us won't really fill up a TB anyway so they get a fanstastic marketing ploy (And good luck to them) for not much extra cost, yes there will be some folk who dump tons of stuff up, but most wont. To be honest 365 was a good deal before the 1TB offer came out, to get the same amount of Office I get if I purchased rather than 365 I would probably have 20 years subscription, with the added bonus of having the latest versions instead of old stuff. MS and a lot of companies have been trying to sell subscription services for years, but we are funny animals and most of us prefer to buy outright so they get a surge of income when a new version of office comes out, if they can persuade most users to move to subscription they get a steadier income stream. I mean is it so bad to use the onedrive website? I sometimes would rather upload it through it than drag and drop to the onedrive folder. So my point is, people will find a reason to complain even if it doesn't affect or kill them. I don't complain about sharing it through it, and I honeslty don't expect people to even have the onedrive app or windows 8/10 installed to access those files as a directory. also it's silly to complain about something that doesn't happen often.Īlso the same person said "you can't share to a person and it won't appear in their onedrive directory" like if it was too hard to use the website. (3dsmax has 28k files in my computer even if I haven't installed some plugins that would help increase it), you understand my point. this is for consumers, I don't know how people can do that. I mean it's not like I will upload 3dsmax 2015 folder to onedrive. people who seem to complain about things they don't use like someone said "3rd party 150mb file size limitation" or "5000 files upload limit within 5 hours" like if everyone uploaded 5k+ files every 10 seconds. especially if it has the Microsoft logo on it and you need a Microsoft account to use it. Peopel will find whatever excuse to say dropbox or gdrive is better.
